Anemia Free India

Telangana

Earlier this year, Mosachi, in collaboration with Deccan Healthcare and IFFCO Tokio, initiated a program to address the challenges faced by girls in rural areas, particularly malnutrition. Partnering with the B2C Foundation and Ganga Aruna Foundation, the program provided nutritional support to girls and contributed to the Prime Minister’s Anemia Mukt Bharat mission.

A total of 505 girl students, aged 9 to 17 years, studying at Telangana State Residential School and Junior College (TSRSJC) in Tandur, Vikarabad district, Telangana, were included in the supplementation program. This initiative was supported under IFFCO Tokio’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts and involved screening all the girls and assessing their hemoglobin levels. Based on the results, a tailored nutritional support plan was implemented with the backing of IFFCO.

This initiative helped the girls in the school and other underserved areas, moving closer to the goal of an anemia-free India and promoting healthier lives.
